Was told pose, so i did,,,,thinking this room needs
redecorating next year
RON--BORN. Westage gardens, Royal Oak , Wythenshawe,Manchester, 10-11-1943 and
went to Royal Oak Primary school,after which i was educated at Wythenshawe Technical High school, Moor Road, Wythenshawe,
at age 15 i left, and trained to be a solicitors clerk, not for me, so went off to learn a trade as apprentice electrician,
i served my time, some may argue that point, but as long as i was paid for that, i never argued , it wasn`t such a bad institution,
i started at £2-18 shillings and sixpence, for a 44hr week and still had to give it all to my mother.And then to be given
Ten bob for spending money would you believe it.. I was rich
who would ever believe that i was once stood outside my home in Westage Gardens Royal Oak , Wythenshawe and eating a
biscuit and told to go out and play, that the world would be as it was, and i was to be 59 years of age and happily married
to Sheila and have six children and eight grand children , the pages of life are neverending, am i happy, how could
i not be, Sheila is my life now, we have made a lovely home together, its been hard at times, life is not suppose to
be easy, we manage as others do, work hard and do our best....don`t we all

mother, Elsie (nee beer ) housewife,also working for a large pharmaceutical company
, Ceiby Geigy , near to manchester airport, then decided to work at a small store nearer to home, the last few years of her
life were spent traveling between Australia and Canada, not being able to settle down after the death of my father, who died
in Perth, before my mother died she sent me some money, with which to buy a rose for my garden, the rose in the picture..
was the first to bloom, my mother died in Canada, near to my sisters home, in southampton

This is Jamie, we hardly ever see him..he moved down
to Cornwall and lives with a young lady there, who,.i have
know idea,,kids do there thing never seem to think of parents
who are they ?

father-Thomas Harbridge- at the time in Dunkirk, Royal Core of Signals, my father
worked on a variety of jobs, one of which was a lorry driver but his main job and the one he was known for was plastic spraying
and was at one time britains No 1..my father cacooned in plastic the snowcats that were sent to the antarctic, his hobby was
fishing and talking.and no matter what, given the chance, he would always try get his feet on the preverbial ladder off success
and make it to the top, He was a very proud man

My brother Tom left to make a new life in Australia where he met
Ann, they have a daughter Debroh, she just moved to a new home and
